Wangsit Siliwangi
On 23 May 1966,
Pangdam (the Territorial Military Commander) III/Siliwanai
VIII. Colonel Ibrahim Ajie, inaugurated the museum. Soon
after, it was open to the public. The museum is basically
devoted to the history and exploits of the West Java
"Siliwangi" Military Division, which is based in Bandung. |

Observatory
The Bosscha's contribution
enabled the local community to explore the sky for the first
time. The observatory played a significant part in Indonesian
research in astronomy during the 1920s. As research in
astronomy continues, Bosscha Sterrenwacht remains one of the

Hasan Sadikin
When Bandung became a municipality in 1927, the hospital was then renamed Rumah Sakit Gemeentelijk Juliana (Juliana Municipality Hospital). However, in relation to its location, the hospital was more popularly known as Rancabadak Hospital. Today, the Rancabadak Hospital, now known a's Hasan Sadikin Hospital, is noted as the largest, and perhaps the oldest hospital in Bandung. |

Vila Merah
Designed by the Dutch architect,
R.L.A Schoemaker, in 1922, Vila Merah is a superb example of
De Stjil, or Prairie, architecture. It is conveniently located
in a lush green area, at the junction of JI. Taman Sari and A
Gelap Nyawang Bandung. |

Makam Sunan Gunung Jati is a royal grave located on a hill,
five kilometres from the centre of Cirebon. The area is

sepanjang jalan cipaganti, sampai kesamping jalan pasteur. |

Institut teknologi Bandung yang terletak di Jl.Ganesha,
dibagian utara kota Bandung, merupakan perguruan tinggi
pertama yang dibuka pemerintah kolonial Belanda untuk orang
Indonesia pada tahun 1920. |

Martana, MT dalam artikelnya berjudul "Gedung Majestic dan
Pelestarian Bangunan Bersejarah di Kota Bandung" penonton
bioskop pernah dibagi menjadi dua bagian, deret kanan dan kiri
menurut jenis kelaminnya. Alasannya simpel: kesopanan. |
